Every now and then I look back at this unforgettable trip to Almaty and Shymbulak Mountains. We visited in February with the perfect snowy conditions without the brutality of peak winter. The next time I visit Almaty I would definitely consider spending a couple of nights in a cozy cabin in Shymbulak for sure.
