Genoa, Italy : Chaotic, messy, authentic, and easily the most unique city I’ve visited.

Last minute I decided to book a hostel to Genoa.
I was warned by 4 people (+ my parents) about the gritiness, danger & how I shouldn't even take my phone out in Centro Storico.
Because of this I was on edge a bit before coming, but those fears were quickly washed away.
Sure the carrugi can be dark, but I avoided being alone and took detours. I felt safe the whole time.
